Inheritance Law
The Inheritance Law is a branch that governs what is desired to be done with the inheritance after the death or strong indications of the death of the persons and how the inheritance shall be distributed among the inheritors and how and in what order the debts shall be paid.
Inheritance law is regulated by civil law in the European legal order. The inheritance proceedings relating to the assets (inheritance) are documented by court decisions in some countries and also in the population registration systems established in notaries in other countries.
